The nowadays called "Museum für historical Maybach Vehicles" was an industrial building for the Express-Factory in the past . Bicycles, mopeds and motorbikes were fabricated there from 1884 until 1959. Between 1960 and 2005 there have been several different utilizations of the building.

Since 2005 the nearly teared down industrial building awoke with new life:

In the main area, there is the “Museum for Historical Maybach Vehicles”. Bicycles and motorbikes are exhibited in a separate Museum. The total premises are not only limited to the attractiveness of the two museums, they are also open for conferences, events, exhibitions and gastronomy.
